David is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist who trained in Sydney and Perth before completing a two year Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and basic research in vascular biology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA. He subsequently attained a Masters degree in Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics. David's interests include complex coronary angioplasty, intra vascular ultrasound and research in the areas of acute coronary syndromes and cardiology outcomes databases. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and Cardiologist at Royal Melbourne & Epworth Hospitals.
